For me, this pharmacy is more than a business — it's a commitment to keeping the spirit of the old family pharmacy alive in a changing world.
Pharmacy at Spar is our vehicle to offer better prices, personal support with medical aids, and a strong, independent alternative to the corporate chains that are trying to swallow community pharmacies. My greatest passion is people, and my special interest lies in wound care — helping patients heal and recover with skill, compassion, and the right knowledge.
I believe that a pharmacy should be a place where expertise meets empathy. That's why I employ only qualified, graduated pharmacists who share my values. Knowledge and service form the foundation of everything we do — ensuring that every patient who walks through our doors receives the care and attention they deserve.

Functional medicine health coach
Certified Pharmacogenomics consultant
I'm a qualified pharmacist from North-West University, with a deep passion for helping people achieve true, lasting wellness. My journey in healthcare has expanded beyond traditional pharmacy — I've also trained as a Functional Medicine Health Coach through the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (FMCA), and as a Pharmacogenomics Consultant with Antares Pharmacogenomics.
My work focuses on understanding each person as a whole — not just their symptoms — and guiding them toward better health through personalized, evidence-based care. I believe in merging science with compassion, using both modern medicine and functional health principles to help people restore balance, energy, and vitality in their lives.
I'm deeply passionate about empowering others to take control of their health, understand their bodies, and make sustainable lifestyle changes that lead to genuine healing.

BPharm
After completing my schooling in Australia, I returned to South Africa to pursue my Bachelor of Pharmacy degree at Rhodes University. My fascination with the sciences—especially the intricate chemistry that drives the human body—has always been at the heart of my career path.
I believe that healthcare should be deeply personal, centred on understanding and building relationships with patients. I value the opportunity to connect with each individual who walks through our doors, providing care that is both compassionate and tailored to their needs. In the workplace, I particularly enjoy problem-solving and applying clinical knowledge to support patient wellbeing.
Outside of the pharmacy, I love spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and playing the piano. Having spent several years travelling and working overseas, I have always found myself drawn back to Plettenberg Bay and Robberg Pharmacy. This town holds a special sense of community, and I'm excited to continue strengthening my connection with its people while growing my skills as a pharmacist.

BSc(Hons) Pharmacology
PU for CHE
I studied pharmacy in Potchefstroom, and I've been part of the Robberg Pharmacy team since 2003. I've also been the Responsible Pharmacist here from the very beginning. Somewhere along the way, I became the person who can track down almost any stock — if it exists, I'll find it! I love solving the tough problems and keeping everything running smoothly. But the best part of my job will always be the people. Helping our customers, getting to know them, and making their day a little easier is why I love what I do.

Registered nurse & midwife
I am a registered nurse and midwife.
I started my practice, Pansy Shell Nursing in 2018, with the main focus on moms and babies.
I am specialised in paediatric vaccines and women's health. My aim is to provide a more personal experience during my consultations to help parents feel more at ease and have more confidence raising their little ones.
